Job summary

Amgen seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison focused on obesity in the U.S. territory including OR, ID, MT, WY, WA. The role is field-based within the U.S. Medical team reporting to an Obesity MSL Field Director, delivering scientific exchange to OLs and PHDMs to improve patient outcomes.

You will build relationships with investigators, support sponsored research, lead congress activities, and ensure compliance with MSL standards while staying current with data and healthcare trends.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/DO or PharmD strongly preferred.
• Experience in Medical Affairs or Scientific Affairs in biotech/pharma.
• Ability to build strong external relationships and communicate scientific data.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs and PHDMs.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support obesity pipeline.
• Communicate data with clinical value and economic data to stakeholders.
• Lead project teams and contribute to Amgen strategy.
