Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison (Obesity) in Columbia, SC. You will serve as the primary scientific resource to clinicians, OLs, and PHDMs, delivering balanced data to support patient outcomes.

This field-based role reports to the Obesity MSL Field Director and focuses on cardiovascular/metabolic contexts within obesity. Your responsibilities include peer-to-peer engagement, investigator liaison, and cross-functional collaboration to advance Amgen’s obesity program.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration across OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers.
• Ability to distill scientific data for diverse audiences.
• Experience in Medical Affairs or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs and HCPs.
• Align with MSL Leadership to execute obesity-related strategy.
• Engage with investigators and institutions to communicate clinical value.
