Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Medical Science Liaison focused on Obesity and related conditions for MN and ND (excluding Rochester, MN). This field-based role reports to the Obesity MSL leadership and supports our patient-focused mission.

You will be the primary scientific resource for Opinion Leaders and other healthcare providers, executing Amgen medical strategy, sharing data, enabling research collaborations, and advancing patient outcomes in our territory.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs and PHDMs.
• Execute medical strategy per MSL leadership.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support the obesity-related pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data to healthcare professionals in a compliant manner.
• Lead congress activities and speaker training as needed.
