Job summary

Amgen seeks an experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison in Obesity to act as the primary scientific resource for Opinion Leaders and healthcare providers. This field-based role advances Amgen's obesity initiatives within the U.S. Medical team, reporting to the Obesity MSL Field Director.

You will engage investigators, support sponsored research, and translate clinical data into actionable insights for improving patient outcomes. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or equivalent with 2+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• MSL experience in biotech/pharma preferred.
• Experience communicating scientific data to healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other HCPs.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline.
• Communicate data of clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to stakeholders.
• Lead and participate in congress activities aligned with strategy.
• Provide training and updates to speakers on new data.
• Mentor other MSLs as designated by leadership.
• Complete administrative tasks in CRM and compliance modules.
