Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity with coverage across IA, NE, SD. You will serve as a scientific resource to OLs and healthcare providers, executing major medical strategy and engaging with investigators and PHDMs to advance the obesity pipeline.

The role requires advanced medical qualifications and several years of Medical Affairs experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills to drive outcomes while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree, or Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O.; 1+ years Medical Affairs experience; 4+ years in a medically related field; cardiometabolic/Obesity expertise.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders, PHDMs and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
• Engage with clinical investigators, PHDMs within IDNs, and institutions to communicate data.
• Lead projects and support congress activities while ensuring compliance.
