Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Obesity Forecasting Associate Director to lead forecasting for the Obesity brand and coordinate with cross-functional teams within the Obesity Intelligence & Analytics organization in Thousand Oaks, CA.

You will drive objective forecast analyses, manage ad-hoc requests, and support business reviews with data-driven insights, influencing strategic decisions in the obesity portfolio.

Qualifications

• Doctorate plus 3 years analytics/forecasting experience.
• Masters plus 5 years analytics/forecasting experience.
• Bachelors plus 7 years analytics/forecasting experience.
• Associates plus 12 years analytics/forecasting experience.
• High school diploma / GED plus 14 years analytics/forecasting experience.
• 8 years of forecasting, market research, or business analytics experience.
• Experience with advanced spreadsheets,患者? (Forecast Pro) and forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide objective, rigorous forecasting views; collaborate with forecasting/insights, marketing, finance and other functions.
• Lead development of obesity forecasts and ad-hoc requests.
• Analyze product performance relative to expectations; estimate revenue potential, market size, penetration.
• Utilize datasets (Xponent, NPA, LAAD, 852, etc.) to develop and explain forecast assumptions.
• Support Quarterly Business Review, Situation Analysis, and Brand Plan with data-driven insights.
• Coordinate with marketing, finance, and cross-functional teams on analytics inputs.
• Develop SLAs with clients to outline forecasting/analytics requirements and deliverables.
• Lead quick-turnaround projects independently; report to Senior Leadership with limited guidance.
• Demonstrate project management and timeline execution across projects, with vendors or internal teams.
