Amgen is seeking a Director of Commercial Forecasting for the Obesity business unit. In this role, you'll oversee forecasting efforts and provide strategic insights to drive commercial success. You'll work closely with senior leadership to ensure data-driven forecasts and identify actionable strategies to enhance market potential.

The ideal candidate will have extensive forecasting experience in biopharma, strong mentoring skills, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders. This role offers a flexible commuting arrangement to the Thousand Oaks, CA office, with 2-3 days on-site each week.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of forecasting experience in biopharma/biotechnology/pharmaceutical.
• Master's degree and 7 years of experience also acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee forecasting efforts for the Obesity business unit.
• Mentor and develop talent in forecasting methodologies.
• Analyze competitors and market dynamics to inform strategies.
