Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking an Associate Director to lead forecasting for the Obesity brand within the Obesity Intelligence & Analytics organization. You will oversee demand forecasting, product performance analyses, and ad-hoc forecasting requests across cross-functional teams.

You will leverage physician, patient, and transactional data sets to develop forecast assumptions, support Quarterly Business Review, and collaborate with marketing, finance, and other stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 3 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience
• OR Master’s degree and 5 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience
• OR Associate’s degree and 12 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience
• OR High school diploma / GED and 14 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting for the Obesity brand and ad-hoc forecasting requests.
• Develop and explain forecast assumptions using multiple data sets.
• Collaborate with forecasting/insights, marketing, finance, and other functions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop analytics and inputs.
