Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist to join the High Risk Labor & Delivery team. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with day shifts.

Qualifications

• LPN diploma or Associates degree in Surgical Technology is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
• 1 year of experience as an LPN or Surgical Technologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and surgical services in the maternity services area, including patient care, comfort, hygiene, data collection and documentation.
• Perform operations in line with OR and obstetrical practice standards within your education, training and experience.
