Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist to join the High Risk Labor & Delivery team. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with day shifts.

Education

• LPN diploma (required) Or Associates degree - Surgical Technologist (required)

• 1 year of experience as a LPN or Surgical Technologist (required)
• Experience assisting with OB/GYN procedures (preferred)

Responsibilities

This position, under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse, is responsible for assisting in the nursing care and surgical services in the maternity services area including the provision of patient care necessary for comfort, hygiene, data collection, and documentation.

Activities are based on accepted standards of operating room and obstetrical practice and are performed within the scope of education, training, and experience.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $27.56 - $42.78 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
