Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist (OB Tech) for the Labor & Delivery unit. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with patient care, data collection, and documentation, following established obstetrical and OR standards.

Qualified candidates include Surgical Technologists or LPNs with BLS within 90 days and at least 1 year of OB/OR experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year OB/OR/Surgical Technologist experience required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Surgical Technologist or LPN education accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and surgical services in maternity services.
• Support data collection and documentation in the obstetric setting.
• Follow OR and obstetrical practice standards under RN guidance.
