Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist for the L&D department on a Flexi/PRN Night Shift (Third shift). Under RN direction, you will assist in nursing care and surgical services in maternity, focusing on patient comfort, hygiene, data collection and documentation.

The role requires 1 year OB/OR/Surgical Technologist experience, and either an LPN, Surgical Tech training, or CST certification with BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• LPN or Surgical Tech education accepted; CST preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year OB/OR/Surgical Technologist experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and surgical services in the maternity area.
• Support patient comfort, hygiene, data collection and documentation per obstetric standards.
