Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital seeks an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist to join the High Risk Labor & Delivery team. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week with day shifts, supporting OB/GYN procedures and maternity patient care.

Under RN guidance, you will assist in nursing care and surgical services within the maternity area, ensuring comfort, hygiene, data collection, and documentation per OR and obstetrical standards.

Qualifications

• LPN diploma or Associate degree in Surgical Technology.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license or Certified Surgical Technologist certification.
• 1 year of experience as LPN or Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and surgical services in maternity services area.
• Support OB/GYN procedures and operating room activities per standards.
