Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technician program or Surgical Tech training with evidence of experience in the past three years required.
• Current BCLS recognized by American Heart Association required.
• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• One year prior experience in a perioperative or obstetrical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures.
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly.
