Job summary

UCF Lake Nona Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, invites qualified Certified OB Surgical Technologists to join as PRN team members. You will prepare surgical suites, assist with obstetric procedures, and support the team to ensure safe, compassionate patient care in a dynamic operating room setting.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, with access to training and mentorship, and on-call scheduling designed to accommodate a flexible PRN position in the Orlando area.

Qualifications

• Certification as TS-C or CST is required.
• Vocational School Graduate credential required.
• BCLS Instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
