Frederick Health Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist I OB for Labor & Delivery on a part-time schedule, 7p-7:30a, to assist in the operating room under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes sterile technique, case preparation, and adherence to safety standards. The position requires a high school diploma and graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program with eligibility to sit for the certification exam within 1 year.

• High school diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program with eligibility to sit for the certification exam within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the treatment and care of patients in the Operating Room.
• Maintains sterile field and prepares cases according to physician preferences.
• Supports delivery room operations and OB surgical suites under supervision.
• Orients new personnel to responsibilities and promotes a safe learning environment.
• Performs assigned circulating duties within the scope of practice for Surgical Technicians.
