Job summary

Blessing Health is seeking an OB Surgical Technologist to join the Obstetrics team. You will provide technical, surgical, and patient-care support in operating rooms, postpartum, labor, and nursery areas, assisting the surgical team during obstetrical procedures including cesarean deliveries.

You will prepare the environment, maintain sterile fields, anticipate needs, handle instruments, and support room turnover and emergency readiness while collaborating with nurses, obstetricians, OB

Qualifications

• Graduate of Surgical Technician program or two (2) years experience in a scrub tech role.
• Good communication skills.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during obstetric procedures and maintain the sterile field.
• Prepare the surgical environment and handle instruments.
• Assist with room turnover and emergency preparedness.
• Collaborate with nurses, obstetricians, OB hospitalists, anesthesia providers, and neonatal staff.

Skills

Two years scrub tech experience

Education
