Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Utah is seeking an Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a collaborative team delivering safe newborn care and maintaining high standards of surgical support. You will prepare the sterile field, assist during obstetric procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 7 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 90 days of employment start date.
• Certificate in surgical technology or related credential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience

Education
