The role requires completion of a Surgical Technician or OB Technician program and 0–1 year of related experience, with opportunities to grow in labor and delivery.

Qualifications

• Completing a Surgical Technician or OB Technician program is required.
• 0–1 year of OB Technician or Surgical Technician experience is required.
• 1–2 years in labor and delivery or obstetric surgery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile technique and proper gowning, gloving, and draping.
• Prepare field for cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries; organize instruments and supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning and room setup for obstetric procedures.
• Handle specimens properly and ensure proper labeling per hospital policy.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols during procedures.
