Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a part-time ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will verify history, optimize imaging, and document findings in EMR/PACS while maintaining professional communication with caregivers and patients.

The ideal candidate has ARRT/ARDMS eligibility and an associate degree, with strong knowledge of anatomy, Doppler, and ultrasound physics. BLS is required; benefits begin Day One.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Ability to perform independent ultrasound procedures to Radiologist standards.
• Proficient with EMR and PACS; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtain clinical history.
• Position patients/equipment; optimize images and data.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and privacy.
