Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in healthcare scheduling, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The role emphasizes confidentiality, patient-centered care, and accurate EHR updates in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in a healthcare setting or healthcare call center.
• Healthcare appointment scheduling experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Register new patients and schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Coordinate with providers’ availability and office policies for scheduling.
• Respond to general questions about office operations, insurance, and billing.
• Maintain patient records in the EHR system with confidentiality.
• Make follow-up calls to remind patients of upcoming appointments.
