Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) OB/GYN Supervisor to join its leadership team in San Antonio, Texas. You will provide clinical supervision on a shift, coordinate patient flow, and support staffing and transfers across the OB/GYN unit.

The role requires a Texas RN license, 1 year in a similar unit, and preferred BSN or higher with 4 years' experience. A ramp of certifications and leadership abilities complements the position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year in an equivalent unit minimum.
• 4 years in an equivalent unit preferred.
• Current Texas State RN license is required.
• National Specialty Certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS and related certifications required or as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift supervision and clinical leadership on the OB/GYN unit.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers with the care team.
• Assist in staffing the unit for the next shift with leadership.
• Participate in staff evaluations and performance discussions.
