Virginia Beach Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as a Nurse Supervisor. This hands-on role combines clinical duties with supervisory responsibilities in a busy OB/GYN practice.

You will oversee staffing, onboarding, training, and staff development while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. A calm, solutions-oriented leader with strong communication will thrive in our collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Virginia or eligible) and current CPR certification.
• Significant OB/GYN nursing experience in outpatient clinic and inpatient/L&D.
• Prior leadership experience preferred (charge, preceptor, lead RN, supervisor, or similar).
• Strong judgment, discretion, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
• Organized, reliable, and capable of multi-priority management in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily staffing coverage and clinical flow across the practice.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance support for clinical staff.
• Partner on quality, safety, and compliance initiatives (OSHA, CLIA, and other standards).
• Help maintain clinical protocols and documentation standards.
• Serve as a go-to problem solver for staff and patient-care workflow issues.
• Support equipment readiness and coordinate repairs/maintenance as needed.
• Reinforce adherence to practice standards and accreditation/quality expectations.
