Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for OB/GYN to provide dedicated nursing care in a fast-paced environment in San Antonio, Texas.

This role requires RN licensure in Texas, BLS on hire, and completion of required obstetric specialty training within defined timeframes. ACLS, NRP, and PALS-related requirements are included, with orientation support and ongoing duties.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license required at hire
• Active BLS on hire; BLS within 60 days
• ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire
• NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire
• Fetal Monitoring training required within 60 days or earlier
• STABLE Level 2 Nursery certification or renewal within 6 months
• PALS or PEDIATRICS training within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision based on patient needs
• Match patient needs with nurse competencies
• Complete competencies within introductory period
• Participate in orientation and related duties
