Odyssey Locums connects physicians at every career stage to locum tenens assignments nationwide. This role places OB/GYN clinicians in a high-capacity unit in Orangeburg, SC, with top-tier pay and streamlined credentialing.

Expect 24/7 recruiter assistance, housing and travel support, and tail coverage with strong malpractice protections as you cover scheduled 24hr calls and OB/GYN cases in a premium facility.

Qualifications

• SC license is required for practice.
• Experience with OB/GYN cases and hospital rounds preferred.
• Willingness to cover 24hr call shifts on scheduled dates.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24hr call shifts on scheduled dates.
• Manage 10 LDRP, antepartum, and 16 PP/GYN rooms on a 32-bed unit.
• Operate in OR with 2 OR and PACU adjacent to the unit.
• Chart in Epic EMR.

The Role:

• Location: Orangeburg, SC 29118
• Cases: 24hr call shifts for specified dates (September 4 at 7am to September 8 at 7am — call may start at 5pm on September 4); additional dates November 26 at 7am to November 30 at 7am; December 24 at 7am to December 28 at 7am.
• 10 LDRP, antepartum, exam room, 16 pp/gyn rooms on a unit of 32 beds. 2 OR and PACU adjacent to the unit. Normal OBGYN cases in OR.
• Site Charting System: Epic.
• SC License is required.
