Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology locum to cover flexible scheduling at a top healthcare facility in Hood River, Oregon. The assignment runs from 1/1/2027 and continues ongoing, with clinic hours 8am–5pm plus call.

Expect 0–2 deliveries during 24-hour call shifts and involvement in office procedures and minor/OR surgeries. Patients per shift are around 15, with two RNs and four MAs on site.

Qualifications

• Active OR License, Board Certified, BLS, NRP required.
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynecology care with 0–2 deliveries during 24-hour call shifts.
• Assist with office procedures and minor/OR surgeries as needed.
• Provide care for patients with a typical load of 15 patients per shift.

The Role:

• Location: Hood River, OR 97031
• Assignment duration: 1/1/2027 - Ongoing
• Shift Type: Clinic 8am-5pm + Call
• Call Details: Weeknight beeper and 24-hour weekend beeper call. Providers expected to take approximately 8 call shifts per month, including one 24-hour weekend call.
• Cases: Inpatient and outpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology care. Providers should expect around 0-2 deliveries during 24-hour call shifts and will assist with office procedures and minor/OR surgeries as needed.
• Patients per Shift: 15
• Support Staff: 2 RNs, & 4 MAs
• Site Chart System: Epic.
• Requirements: Active OR License, Board Certified, BLS, NRP
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
