Job summary

Axia Women’s Health in Collegeville/Exton, PA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support OB/GYN care. Responsibilities include patient intake, vitals, specimen collection, and assisting with office-based procedures.

On-site hours Monday-Thursday and Friday with a strong team focus. Requirements include a high school diploma and CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA certification, CPR if conducting procedures, and OB/GYN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current national certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA) required.
• CPR certification required if performing office-based surgeries.
• OB/GYN or Women’s Health experience preferred.
• eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure they are comfortable.
• Prepare patients for examinations and complete comprehensive clinical intake.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered by providers.
• Assist with patient examinations and office-based procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests per protocols.
• Respond to patient inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up visits.
• Ensure patient safety within clinical settings.
