Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical care across various OB/GYN services. You will prepare patients for visits, assist providers during procedures, and maintain exam rooms and labs with strict HIPAA compliance.

The role requires Phlebotomy and injections where applicable, experience with medical terminology, and strong communication. Certification is preferred or obtainable within 120 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required in FL.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred or ability to obtain within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during treatment/procedures, examinations and testing.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize exam rooms, procedure rooms, lab areas and other patient care areas.
• Record patients' medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint; measure vital signs.
• Educate patients on information and instructions from providers; relay messages to providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional office conduct.
