Job summary

Women’s Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patient care across OB/GYN settings. You will prep patients, assist during examinations, and perform routine procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities include recording medical histories, vitals, phlebotomy as needed, and maintaining clean, compliant care areas. Strong communication and reliability are essential; prior MA experience in women’s health is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.
• Experience in OB-GYN or Primary Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist during treatment/procedures, examinations, and testing.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and all other patient care areas per established policies and procedures.
• Record patients' medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint.
• Measure, record, and document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections as directed where applicable.
• Educate patients per provider instructions.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with messages between patients and front office; represent the office professionally.
