Job summary

Women’s Care PC is seeking a Medical Assistant in Florida to support providers during exams and procedures. You will prepare patients, record medical histories and vital signs, and maintain sterile rooms and equipment to ensure efficient care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CMA preferred or certification obtainable within 120 days, and CPR/BLS certification. Experience with phlebotomy, injections, and EMR systems such as eCW is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CMA preferred or able to obtain certification within 120 days.
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification preferred or able to obtain within 30 days through Women’s Care training.
• Experience in phlebotomy and injections, if applicable.
• Experience in OBGYN or Primary Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment/procedures, examinations, and testing.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area per policies.
• Record patients' medical history, health maintenance, chief complaint, and vital signs.
• Educate patients by providing information and instructions as directed by the provider.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and a professional, courteous demeanor.
