Women’s Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical support in Largo, FL. You will prepare patients, assist providers during exams, and manage room readiness, while documenting medical history and vital signs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CMA certification within 120 days in Florida, and CPR/BLS certification. OB/GYN or primary care experience is a plus, with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CMA preferred.
• Florida CMA certification within 120 days or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.
• OBGYN or Primary Care experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and injections; data entry in EMR (eCW).
• Able to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment and testing.
• Restock, sterilize, and prepare exam and procedure rooms and labs.
• Record patient medical history, vital signs, and chief complaints.
• Educate patients with information and instructions from providers.
• Relay messages between patients and front office staff and providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in team meetings.
