Job summary

Women’s Care in Clearwater, FL seeks a Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical support in OB/GYN and primary care settings. This role prepares patients, assists providers during visits, performs phlebotomy and injections as directed, and ensures rooms and supplies are ready.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (CMA preferred) and CPR/BLS certification. Experience in fast-paced clinics and familiarity with EMR systems (eCW) is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CMA preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during visits.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms and procedure areas.
• Record patients' medical history, vital signs, and chief complaint; perform phlebotomy and injections as directed.
• Educate patients and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Represent the office professionally and support team activities.
