Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• MA certification required or eligible within 120 days.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.
• Experience in OBGYN or primary care is a plus.
• Proficient in medical terminology and EMR usage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures.
• Restock and sterilize rooms and equipment per policy.
• Record medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint.
• Measure and document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections as directed; collect specimens.
• Educate patients and relay messages between patients and providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and a safe work environment.
• Attend required meetings and participate in team development.
