Job summary

Together Women’s Health, LLC is opening a new Rochester Hills location and is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join the growing medical team. Training begins mid-December with the new site opening in January, preparing for a seamless patient experience from day one.

Qualified candidates will have MA training, EMR familiarity, and strong teamwork. CCMA and a bachelor’s degree are preferred, with experience in a medical office and ideally in OB/GYN settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Preferred).
• 1+ years in a medical office; EMR experience and medical terminology required; OB/GYN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient health history and enter into EMR.
• Set up and prepare exam room for patient visits.
• Perform preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals.
• Set up diagnostic/treatment equipment as needed.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete documentation in patient medical records, test requests, medications, and education.
• May perform scribe duties.
• Assist the physician as directed.
• Must work well in a team environment.
