Together Women’s Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our growing medical team in Michigan. The MA will support physicians, enter patient histories in the EMR, prep exam rooms, take vitals, assist with injections and phlebotomy, and ensure accurate documentation for patient records.

Applicants should have 1+ year in a medical office, experience with EMR systems, and medical terminology; CCMA and a Bachelor's degree are preferred. A collaborative team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required.
• Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology is required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtain patient health history and enter into EMR.
• Set up and prepare exam room for patient visits.
• Perform preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals.
• Set up diagnostic/treatment equipment as needed.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete documentation for patient records, test requests, medications and education.
• Assist physician as directed.
• Work well in a team environment.
