St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant for the OBGYN practice at our Easton and Bethlehem locations.

The role supports clinical operations, prepares patients for examinations, assists with procedures, and collaborates with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care. A high school diploma is required, with a Medical Assistant program or clinical experience preferred; BLS/CPR certification is required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience OR graduate of Medical Assistant program required.
• BLS/CPR: Current or within 60 days of hire; through ARC or AHA.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination and escort to exam room, including vitals and updating medical history.
• Review and update patient records prior to appointments; communicate with Care Team as needed.
• Assist with injections or immunizations within state guidelines; maintain sterile procedures.
• Coordinate with providers and Care Team regarding tests, lab work and follow-ups; participate in quality initiatives.
• Maintain supplies, vaccine temperature logs, and waste disposal per protocol; assist with administrative tasks (check-in/check-out).
