Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant, Practice Operations to support clinical workflows in our Pennsylvania practice. The MA will prepare patients, record vital signs, assist clinicians, and help with front-desk tasks as needed.

Requirements include a High School diploma or MA program graduate, 1 year clinical experience (2 years preferred), and BLS/CPR current or within 60 days of hire. Strong patient service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or MA program completion required.
• BLS/CPR certification required or within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-visit planning and prepares patients for examination.
• Performs basic clinical tasks: vitals, injections, vaccine handling, and specimen processing as directed.
• Supports care team with documentation, patient education and coordinate care transitions.
• Assists with front-desk tasks and maintains exam rooms and supplies.
