Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or MA training program certificate.
• BART or BLS at hire with plan to obtain BART within 6 months.
• Two+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience in a large, complex healthcare system preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care, environmental care functions, equipment/supply management, and cleaning/disinfecting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for appointments in OB/GYN, including rooming and taking vital signs.
• Assist during visits as a chaperone and support documentation by scanning records.
• Maintain clinic workflow by handling environmental care, equipment and supplies, and front/back office tasks as needed.
