Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or completion of MA training program.
• BART or BLS at hire, with plan to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience in a medical setting and IDX/EMR familiarity.
• Medical terminology certificate or training.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide non‑licensed medical support to providers in outpatient settings.
• Room patients, prep equipment, and assist exams and procedures.
• Administer injections, venipuncture, and specimen handling.
• Call in prescriptions and document in patient charts.
• Sterilize instruments and manage exam room supplies; may assist front desk.
