Job summary

Women’s Care PC is hiring a Medical Assistant in Florida to provide professional clinical support during office visits, pre- and post-visit care, and procedures. You will prepare patients, record vitals and medical history, and help maintain sterile, organized exam rooms.

The role requires MA certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain it within 120 days, CPR/BLS, and comfort with phlebotomy, injections, and EMR data entry in a fast-paced OB/GYN/primary care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 120 days.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or the ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures.
• Record patients' medical history, vitals, and chief complaints.
• Sterilize and restock exam rooms, lab area, and treatment rooms.
• Educate patients with information and instructions.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections as directed.
• Relay messages between patients, front office, and providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional office conduct.
• Assist with team activities and meetings.
