Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a per-diem Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the OB/GYN team at the Swampscott location and satellite sites in Danvers, Beverly, and Peabody. You will handle front-desk tasks, scheduling, and basic clerical duties while contributing to a collaborative care team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of office experience, and CMAA is preferred. EPIC experience is advantageous in this setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CMAA certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of office experience required.
• Proficiency with Office Suite and basic clerical tasks.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine administrative and clerical duties relating to a clinical service or physician practice office.
• Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
• Greet and assist patients.
• Answer telephones, assist callers with routine inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• File materials in patient folders and print appointment schedules.
• Process patient billing forms and scan documents to patient medical records/LMR.
• Call for patient medical records and laboratory test results.
• Open and distribute unit mail or faxes.
• Type forms, records, schedules, memos, etc., as directed.
