Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking an OB/GYN physician for a Williston, ND assignment. The role includes 24-hour shifts, 7am–7pm clinic hours when on duty, and 24/7 on-call coverage with rounds, deliveries, and ER participation.

Expect 1–3 admissions daily and 50–60 deliveries per month, with Meditech, Dragon, PACs, eRx, and Imprivata systems in use. Competitive top-of-market pay, paid housing, travel, tail malpractice coverage, and recruiter support are provided.

Responsibilities

• Care for obstetric patients during deliveries and postpartum periods.
• Round on patients; attend calls; be available for urgent deliveries.
• Coordinate with ER for urgent obstetric cases.
• Document patient care and charting in system.
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled.

The Role:

• Location: Williston, ND 58801
• Shift Type: 24 hour.
• Clinic hours: 7am-7pm.
• Call Details: On call 24 hours a day, round on patients, come in for deliveries, go to ER if urgent cases present. Clinic hours 7a-7p
• Average Callback Hours: 7.5 Hours
• Cases: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hyst, tubals, bladder repair, DC's
• Admissions per Day: 1-3
• 50-60 Deliveries per Month
• Site Charting System: Meditech, Dragon, PACs, eRx - Dr. First, Imprivata Tap and Go
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active ND License or IMLC, DEA, BLS, & NRP
