Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group in coastal Virginia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join our multi-specialty team. The role offers flexibility across Southeast Virginia with J1 visa support at limited locations, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide longitudinal obstetric and gynecologic care in inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in a 1:4 call rotation with after-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology.
• J1 visa support available at limited locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including preventive care, prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum care.
• Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions, including reproductive health, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and menopause-related concerns.
• Perform in-office procedures such as pelvic exams, Pap smears, colposcopies, biopsies, and contraceptive management.
• Conduct surgical procedures, including cesarean deliveries, hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and other gynecologic surgeries as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with WHNPs, CNMs, and other care team members to ensure coordinated patient-centered care.
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation and provide after-hours or emergent OB/GYN care as needed.
• Provide patient education on reproductive health, family planning, pregnancy, and preventive care.

In this Role:

As an OB/GYN with Bayview Physicians Group, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient and outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

• Conduct surgical procedures, including cesarean deliveries, hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and other gynecologic surgeries as clinically indicated.

• Manage patient care in both ambulatory and hospital settings with a focus on quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

• Collaborate with WHNPs, CNMs, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.

• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation and provide after-hours or emergent OB/GYN care as needed.

• Provide patient education on reproductive health, family planning, pregnancy, and preventive care.

• Adhere to clinical guidelines, best practices, and regulatory standards while contributing to a positive and professional practice environment.
