Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group in Coastal Virginia is seeking a Certified Midwife/Women’s Health Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the OB/GYN team. You will deliver comprehensive, longitudinal care in inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group of physicians and clinicians.

The role offers a competitive salary range ($115,000–$145,000), performance incentives, and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and a signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Advanced practice provider with comprehensive women’s health training.
• Experience in obstetrics/gynecology preferred.
• Licensed in Virginia or eligible to practice in the state.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health histories, physical exams, gynecologic exams, and prenatal assessments.
• Lead full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and gynecologic care.
• Manage labor and deliveries as a Certified Midwife.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OB/GYN team.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests.

In this Role:

As a Certified Midwife/Women’s Health Advance Practice Provider, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient and outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team

• Perform comprehensive health histories, physical examinations, gynecologic exams, and prenatal assessments


• Full-scope midwifery practice including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and gynecologic care


• Manage labor and deliveries as a Certified Midwife


• Opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced OB/GYNs

• Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans
