Job summary

University Health in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Patient Scheduler for the UH2 High Risk Pregnancy Center. This full-time role from 8:00AM to 4:30PM, 40 hours per week, involves guiding patients from scheduling through check-in to ensure a smooth visit at UH2 Kansas City.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with patient management systems to maintain accurate records and assist with health benefits

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of customer service experience.
Proficient with computer hardware/software and patient management systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Be the First Friendly Face: Assist patients with scheduling, check-in, registration, check-out, and ensure they have a seamless experience from start to finish.
Manage Patient Flow: Help keep the clinic running smoothly by managing the flow of patients, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling and check-ins.
Accurate Record Keeping: Enter patient demographic and financial information accurately into the system.
Communication Pro: Answer phone calls, respond to patient requests, and explain health benefits and financial obligations.
Be the Scheduling Guru: Take charge of the clinic schedule, ensuring it's effective and organized.
