Job summary

Unitek EMT in Fresno is seeking an OB BSN Nursing Instructor to join our Workforce Solutions partnership with Community Health Systems. The instructor will provide clinical site education to students enrolled in the Workforce Solutions program, with hours varying by clinical rotation and skills lab course.

Pay ranges from $55 to $70 per hour, DOE. This is a full-time campus position with responsibilities including supervision of clinical experiences, evaluation of student performance, and

Qualifications

• Valid, unencumbered RN license in California (CA BRN).
• CA BRN approval as Instructor in Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health or Geriatrics.
• Master's degree or BSN with active Master's enrollment for teaching roles.
• Minimum four years RN direct patient care experience, with activity within last five years.
• One year teaching experience in nursing or related program preferred.
• Expertise in Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health or Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical site education to students per curriculum and faculty expertise.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned facilities.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback after observations and maintain student records.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate students using best teaching methods.
• Utilize online activities to enhance course content and delivery.
• Submit program reports to the Academic Site Director promptly.
• Stay current with safety regulations and innovative teaching technologies.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in nursing program activities.
