Job summary
Unitek Learning is seeking a Full-Time BSN Nursing Instructor to join our Workforce Solutions partner, Community Health Systems in Fresno. The instructor will provide Clinical site, Skills and Simulation education to students enrolled at the Workforce Solutions Program site.
Hours vary with rotations; teach in skills labs and clinical settings, using adult-learning principles. Hold CA BRN license and have RN clinical experience; CA BRN approval as instructor for specified nursing areas is
Qualifications
- Valid California BRN license.
- Eligible for CA BRN instructor approval for Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics.
- Master's degree in nursing, education, or administration (or BSN with enrollment in a Master’s program).
- At least four years of RN direct patient care, including recent experience.
- Experience teaching nursing courses preferred.
- Expertise in Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, or Critical Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical site, skills and simulation education.
- Plan and supervise student clinical experiences.
- Evaluate student performance against learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate attendance and records.
- Facilitate online activities to enhance course content.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in committees.
- Provide office hours and accessible communication.
