Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee orthotic and prosthetic fabrication and delivery, coordinating resources to meet quality, production, and financial goals while maintaining patient care standards.

You will plan daily workflows, schedule work, hire and develop staff, apply Lean Six Sigma methods to improve throughput, and ensure safety and compliance across the fabrication department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years supervisory experience in orthotics/prosthetics fabrication OR 7+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred BS in Business Administration, Production Operations, O&P.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in Orthotics/Prosthetics production management, including team supervision and workflow optimization.
• Lean Six Sigma training, Green Belt or higher.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate resources to meet quality, production and financial objectives.
• Organize daily workflows to maximize productivity while maintaining quality.
• Schedule and expedit e all work through the department.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop department personnel.
• Motivate and develop team members to achieve production goals and teamwork.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve processes to reduce waste and improve delivery.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methods to solve problems and improve performance.
• Ensure safe working environment and OSHA compliance.
• Provide pricing for work performed and maintain internal communications.
