Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Prosthetist/Orthotist with strong clinical skills to assess patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver or supervise comprehensive O&P care.

The role includes practice management duties and collaboration with a large clinical community to achieve financial and clinical goals. Qualified candidates will have ABC/BOC certification, a prosthetics/orthotics degree, a valid driver’s license, and relevant experience in direct patient care with supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from ABC or BOC
• A bachelor’s degree in prosthetics/orthotics with ABC board-eligibility
• A valid driver’s license and driving record
• In states with licensure requirements, ability to obtain/maintain licensure
• Five years’ experience in Orthotics/Prosthetics providing direct patient care, preferred
• Two to four years supervisory experience, preferred
• Two to four years 3rd party billing experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and formulate treatment plans and implement those plans
• Follow up with patients and participate in practice management
• Provide care under direction of certified clinicians if not yet certified
• As Clinic Manager, oversee clinical operations of practitioners, technicians and staff to meet financial and clinical goals
