You will supervise building staff, coordinate maintenance and tenant management, and drive operational standards while ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role emphasizes maximizing property value and resident satisfaction through strategic process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in property management.
• Strong understanding of the NYC rental market and housing regulations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants and vendors.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks.
• Financial literacy to manage budgets and track expenses.
• Strong customer service skills to address tenant concerns.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of multi-family properties in NYC.
• Supervise building staff and coordinate unit turnovers, maintenance, and tenant management.
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures for property operations including maintenance, collections, turnover and financials.
• Monitor property performance, identify trends, and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Fair Housing/ADA requirements.
• Lead resident engagement initiatives and manage special projects to improve efficiency and profitability.
